Hard Charging — '69 Charger |
|
|
Like in any good race, the fun part is the process of gaining positions on your way to securing the lead and ultimately the win.
Tom Boldry knows first hand what it's like to start out behind the field, and his '69 Dodge Charger is rolling proof he knows what it takes to win. Boldry, now a Kansas resident, grew up in California in the '70s and always wanted what his friends had.
You see, when Boldry was in high school, all of his friends drove cool cars like Camaros and Chargers while he was stuck driving a '69 Volkswagen Beetle. Sure, the Bug boasted dual Webers and Boldry was adept at pulling the engine, but it was no muscle or pony car.
For Tom, building this '69 Charger was just as fun as driving the car he lusted after as a teen. "The fun part was the process...watching the car come along. It started out as a minor project, but we kept adding to it and it got big.
Find out how big by catching the full feature. |
