Willys Coupe Burns from the Inside Out |

Heat control is always an issue with high output engines whether it's cooling the block or cooling the driver. The hottest part of the summer is now upon us and keeping the high temps on the outside has some guys thinking about adding mat insulation to their rides.
Before you get the cold sweats pricing out a project like that, you might want a look at the spray-on ceramic insulation from Lizard Skin. A video on their website demonstrates how a thin layer of their product keeps an ice cube from melting on a hot plate, along with a real life story of how Lizard Skin contained a car fire.
Spray on application covers seams and hard to reach places in half the time of cutting and sticking, not to mention at a fraction of the price.
How big of a "fraction?" Head over to Summit Racings website to find out. |
