Because Chrome Makes Steel Better |
|
|
Stainless Steel: a scientist would say it contains at least 10% chromium which is enough to form a passive film of chromium oxide, preventing surface corrosion. A motor-head would say that stainless steel can be polished, then punished with heat and moisture and still hold a shine.
That is of course with the right cleaner from a company that's been making solid T-304 stainless steel, performance application exhaust systems for over three decades. Borla now has their own blend of cleaner/polish that cuts through the chalky junk that grabs a hold of your pipes and trim to bring back the luster and help remove discoloring.
Adding a little chrome to the mix makes everything better, especially steel. So whether your stainless runs from your exhaust manifold to the polished tip of the tailpipe or just the clamps and tubing in between, it can be restored to its former glory with a quick swipe of Borla's cleaner and polish.
Have a look at their website full of stainless steel goodness and the polish to make it sparkle.
