One of 2010's Best Electrical Components? |
|
|
It looks like a traditional needle gauge that fits into your stock dashboard but behind the digital curtain lies an almost endless realm of possibilities.
Dakota Digital's new VHX gauge series has won Good Guy's 2010 Best Electrical Component award for a good reason. Crisp, compact gauges are now mated with a digital display that looks like an odometer at first glance but cycling through options shows the power to report everything from specialized sensor readings to quarter mile times.
The open ended design allows modules to be added in series on the back of the gauge, meaning if you'd like to monitor more information than the gauge's needles provide, you can track it in the display at the bottom.
Calculations can also be made based on captured information like speed, time and distance. As more modules are released the functionality grows without having to buy (and install) a new set of gauges.
Find out more about this new concept in dashboard information at Dakota Digital's website. |
