The $7,500 Car Wash |
|
|
Everyone agrees there's nothing better than a warm summer breeze, a cool beverage and a bucket of soapy suds for your street machine, but get to the waxing stage of cleaning and car guys have different opinions on what's best.
No one may be more extreme than Paul Dalton, whose car detailing involves 52 steps, pure carnauba wax applied by hand (literally) and an ultrasonic depth gauge to measure paint thickness for a completely level finish.
You could try this at home with the consumer version of his favorite car wax, Swissvax Crystal Rock, containing 76% carnauba at $1100 a tub or even pop for the Zymol Royal Glaze at $8500 that has free refills.
Of course you could get fantastic results from some other excellent products in the $10-$15 range. Meguiars line of professional Mirror Glaze products come in a large variety of treatments from weather protection to deep show car shine.
Check out the variety of options to fit almost every car guy's opinion at Meguiars website. |
