Respect for Rat Rods
Rat Rod Stuff Remember your first car? The prerequisite was being cheap, loud was an acceptable substitute for fast and who cared what it looked like as long as it ran on Saturday nights. It was a work in progress.

Impatience has struck the next generation who doesn't have the money for muscle or show cars, opting instead to pull carcasses out of fields and bone yards. A quick chop and power implant from anything handy suits them fine. Cruising is what matters.

From this the Rat Rod movement was born and has since matured enough to start producing some wild styles. Creativity still substitutes for money in a pinch and the youthful thrills are just as evident in this new American expression.

Online classifieds and photo galleries have popped up dedicated to these diamonds in the rough that are sure to get your creative juices flowing. They may not be your favorite style, but they're sure worth having a look at.

Unrefined, improvised and completely stinkin' rad... dig in to some Rat Rod Stuff.
