Record Caribou & Funny Bigfoot Video |
 |
|
Killing a record-book animal ain't easy, regardless of what you're packing. But doing it consistently from the ground with an old-school recurve ... that's something that can't be taught.
Known widely for his big, fun-loving personality, Fred Eichler puts his arrow where his mouth is on a mammoth mountain caribou (scroll down the right-side of the webpage to watch the "Fred Eichler's Mountain Caribou Hunt" video). Think the landscape of Northwest Territories is breathtaking? Check out the antlers on this critter.
But Eichler hunts more than caribou. He's experienced the foul breath of a charging mama brown bear at 8 feet, and even had his fair share of "Bigfoot" close encounters. All with nothing more than a quiver full of arrows on his hip. Kinda makes you want to go out and practice, doesn't it?

Great footage of Fred hunting moose, pronghorns, whitetails, turkeys, Alaskan brown bear and more! |
