NSSF Says Hunters Must Make Facts Heard
National Shooting Sports Foundation
Good news is we've recently won big cases on firearms ownership. Bad news is the next anti-hunting strategy goes after ammunition.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) reports that the Environmental Protection Agency received a petition trying to convince policy makers that regular hunting ammo harms birds and human health.

NSSF President/CEO Steve Sanetti says, "There is simply no scientific evidence the use of traditional ammunition is having an adverse impact on wildlife populations that would require restricting or banning its use beyond current limitations, such as the scientifically-based restriction on waterfowl hunting."

What would a lead ban mean? NSSF predicts ammo costing up to three times what it does now. Few of us could afford to hunt or shoot any more. Even law enforcement groups would be impacted.

The 90-day comment period ends soon! NSSF can show you the most impactful way to make your voice heard.

Speak Out Tell the Environmental Protection Agency to pay attention to the scientific facts about traditional ammunition.
