Let's set the scene: You need to get across a lake because that's where the good deer hunting is located. But after you're there, it'd be handy to have your four-wheeler along to travel deeper into the forest, and also aid in hauling out a deer.
Solution? Yea ... this should work ... drive your quad off the end of the boat dock and onto a floating raft. Mount an outboard motor to that raft to transport man and machine across the lake. Well, the trip across the lake goes just fine and although you don't get a deer, this ferry system seems to be working well. Time to call it a day and head back to camp.
