Thompson Center Unveils Newest Firearm |
|
|
Thompson/Center has earned a loyal following among diehard hunters by building highly accurate and dependable rifles, muzzleloaders and pistols. And at the recent NRA convention, T/C impressed the record-setting crowds by showing off its newest offering, the Larry Weishuhn Signature Series pistol.
The new Encore Pro Hunter single-shot bears Weishuhn's signature along with his personal antler logo created in gold inlay. The handgun remains true to its original platform with its break-open design and interchangeable barrel capabilities. The blued frame is paired with a .308 Win. 15-inch blued, fluted barrel. As part of the package, each Encore pistol is shipped with a new Nikon 2.5-8X28mm Encore pistol scope, Pachmayr grip and forend (for a secure, consistent grip while minimizing recoil), and a soft carrying case.
Weishuhn will always recommend you "Use enough gun," so his Encore is also available in .460 S&W. In fact, Larry plans to use the new Encore in .460 S&W this August while taping a hunt for Alaska brown bear. (Stay tuned to "Inside Track" to find out how he does!)
Last, but certainly not least: Larry's pistol comes with a lifetime warranty and, like him, it's made 100 percent in the U.S.A.
