Woman Smashes Face then Tags Stone's Sheep |
Almost every big game hunter dreams of pursuing wild sheep, but those lucky enough to make this dream a reality are understandably burdened with one potential nightmare: getting injured on that hunt. Just ask Annetta Morris, the "better half" of Team Hazel Creek. (Her husband, Cally, is the taxidermist who makes all those Hazel Creek turkey decoys you see the big-shots using on TV.)
Annetta's quest for a Stone's sheep spanned a couple years, with her holding out for the king of the mountain. When it looked like she'd finally spotted the sheep of her dreams, disaster struck—literally—when she lost her footing and fell face-down on the jagged shale. It's amazing she was able to continue on the hunt and take the magnum ram.
If you'd like to witness this adventure, check out Cally and Annetta's latest DVD called, "Bringin' It Home with Hazel Creek." It's got her famous face-plant, plus 28 other thrilling hunts—everything from Illinois whitetails to British Columbia elk.
