Plant a Garden Railroad |
|
|
We love our gardens. We spend hours tending the plants. It's pretty, but sometimes it feels like there's something missing. What if that something is... a train?
Bachmann Trains has us daydreaming about adding a whole new dimension to the garden.
The Lumberjack, a large scale (or G-scale) train, has an engine that chuffs and whistles as it makes the rounds. The plume of smoke appears and disappears as the engine weaves between plants on the curving track. What used to be a clump of bee balm now looks like a charming forest, soft leaves swaying as the train trundles by.
Here's the plan: we get Dad the Lumberjack or the Durango & Silverton for Father's Day, he installs the tracks, and we sit back and dream about all the cool miniature plants we now have the perfect excuse to buy.
Click here for the perfect gift for Dad. |
