Gorgeous Ground Covers for Pathways
Once you've planned your perfect path, try these gorgeous ground covers that look great along a walkway or in between paving stones:
Creeping phloxCreeping phlox (Phlox subulata)
This spring-flowering perennial has dense cushions of bright green leaves that show off tiny purple, red, lilac, pink, or white flowers when they bloom.
Carpet bugleweed Carpet bugleweed (Ajuga reptans)
The dark green leaves on this perennial look like little scoops. Dark blue flowers bloom in late spring and early summer.
Periwinkle Periwinkle or creeping myrtle (Vinca minor)
This tough evergreen ground cover has long trailing shoots with dark green leaves. Blue-violet flowers bloom from mid-spring to autumn.
