Great Bait Made Better

When the Flicker Shad showed up in 2006, walleye anglers quickly caught the scent and turned it into a trolling marvel almost overnight. And lately, more and more bass fishermen are realizing that its specialized action gives it the appearance of an escaping baitfish—something a predator just can't turn down.

Now Berkley's announced some upgrades to the bait that'll surely widen the smiles on the faces of both groups. First is the slew of new patterns—like chartreuse pearl, red tiger, chrome clown and nine others. They also swapped out the old trebles with Mustad's premium Ultra Points.

In addition, every bait is tank tested to make sure the roll and yaw are just right, plus each package comes with a dive curve chart from Precision Trolling, so you can run it where the fish are holding.
