Why Fishing's Better In The Buff |
|
|
Look at the face of any veteran angler, and you'll see the inevitable raccoon-eye tan, cut by a moonscape of deep wrinkles and possibly a scar or two where the doc removed a suspicious mole or blotch.
You can avoid a lot of these hard miles by fishing in the Buff—with a capital "B." (The lower-case buff will definitely get you burned, and then arrested.)
The UV Angler Buff is most useful to anglers as a neckerchief or face mask, where it blocks 95 percent of the UV rays that would otherwise make your face look like a kettle-cooked potato chip.
If it seems counter-intuitive to wear more clothing on a hot, sultry day, think again. The Buff's Coolmax Extreme fabric allows sweat to evaporate quickly, which actually keeps you cooler. Speaking of cool, you can choose from a variety of sweet patterns.
So much for the face; what about your hands? Buff's new Pro-Series Angler Gloves have them covered.
