Burn, Baby, Burn
Screamin' Two-Step
When you're watching your favorite TV angler, it seems that the bite is always on, the fish are always big and the fisherman always knows exactly what to throw.

Here's video proof, however, that even a great angler can luck out occasionally. It happened to NAFC Executive Director Steve Pennaz recently as he was taping a commercial for a new baitcaster. Throwing cast after cast for the cameraman, he'd burn the jig back to set up for the next take—until his fishing luck kicked in.

The Lesson: Fish can become conditioned to the same old presentations. Remember to give them something new to look at when the bite is slow.

Take a look at Pennaz' informative article about how to catch conditioned fish.
