As DIYers, we have a weakness for duct tape; we love the stuff — sometimes too much. So when Gorilla Glue introduced its Tough & Wide tape (2.88 in. x 90 ft.), we were in primate heaven!
The tape's extra width and its sinfully tenacious adhesive layered on a strong, weatherproof backing had us wondering whether welding, mortar and metal fasteners have been rendered obsolete. Might this be the product that can repair anything?
Because Tough & Wide has a thicker layer of adhesive, it's able to really grab on to rough and irregular surfaces. Its abrasion-resistant shell makes it suitable for outdoor applications (sportsmen take note), and it can endure extreme heat and cold. But the most impressive feature is that it is almost 3 in. wide. Now there's almost no object to which you can't apply a little "duct love." Hallelujah!
