The Pneumatic Mona Lisa |

Leonardo da Vinci spent 16 years working on the Mona Lisa. Of course, now the painting is world-renowned, but a little-known fact is that da Vinci abandoned the piece numerous times, only to come back years later to finish the painting shortly before his death in 1519.

The video has triggered volleys of scorn from critics who snicker that this "masterpiece" of hot-dipped galvanized metal is nothing more than camera trickery. Is it art or is it asinine? You be the judge.
