Handy Humor (Sort of) |
Well, I guess that's one way (see photo) of making Swiss cheese ...
The workshop is a great place to appreciate awesome tools, finish fabulous projects — and tell terrible jokes. In that light, here is a list of tool "definitions:"
Circular saw: A portable cutting tool used to make studs too short.
Table saw: A large, stationary power tool commonly used to launch wood projectiles for testing wall integrity.
Two-ton engine hoist: A tool for testing the maximum tensile strength ... of everything you forgot to disconnect.
Straight screwdriver: A tool for opening paint cans. Sometimes used to convert common slotted screws into non-removable screws.
Dammit tool: Any handy tool that you grab and throw across the garage while swearing at the top of your lungs. It's also, invariably, the next tool that you will need.

One Bad Joke:
A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes and bows down in prayer. His friend says: "Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man." The man then replies: "Yeah, well we were married 35 years."
