Roofing Color Compass Personality Quiz When we first took this Roofing Color Compass Personality Quiz by Owens Corning, we thought we had mistakenly stumbled onto the Web site of the American Psychological Association.

First question: "You've got two weeks of vacation and a big bonus check. Where are you headed?"

Second: "How would you like your friends to describe you?" (Click five words from a list.)

Huh? What's this gotta do with roof colors? But, heck, it was just fun and quirky enough that we answered all nine questions.

Results? The quiz revealed our "perfect colors" and some rather flattering discoveries (thank you, very much!) that our answers said about us and our homes. Our ideal shingle was presented, and, we admit, it was pleasing to the eye (for a shingle).

The quiz helps you choose roof colors and, if nothing else, you can use it as a conversation starter for dating, company picnics, reunions, whatever. "So, what color is your roof?"
