The Strong, Silent Tailgater Type |
We've been pleading all week for y'all to just do it. That is, make Memorial Day a true holiday. Drop the drill driver, circumvent the circ saw, table any projects on the table saw — you get the idea. Take a well-earned break.
Do some tailgating (see video how-to), either at a ball game, beach or campground. We discovered that 30 percent of ball game tailgaters (20 million Americans, with the number rising 12 percent annually in the last five years) never see the inside of the stadium. Many watch their HDTV that's plugged into a portable generator, such as the Honeywell 2000i Inverter Generator.
You can see — but hardly hear — this 60-pound generator powering a TV in a stadium parking lot. It has a 5-hour run time at 50 percent load, with a 1.5-gallon fuel tank.

Flexible Grilling Skewer.
The Fire Wire Flexible Grilling Skewer is a cable-style grilling skewer that makes grilling easier. Made of food-grade stainless steel, Fire Wire is twice as long as a traditional skewer. Just put food on the Fire Wire, put Fire Wire in your marinate in a bag and then place the food on the grill.
