Six Vegas Tool-Testing Winners — Zero Pranks

"This is a prank, right?"

That was Club member Charles Pherson's response to news that he'd won a trip to the upcoming 2010 National Hardware Show (NHS) in Las Vegas. After all, we just happened to make the congratulatory call on April 1, and perhaps we should've waited until after April Fool's Day to notify Pherson about his prize. Oops.

HANDY editors handpicked Pherson and five other Top Tool Testers from more than 800 inspiring entries. Next week, these six DIYers will participate in the show's first-ever HANDY Test Shop. They will get hands-on experience with the latest tools, and then post real-time product reviews right from the show floor. Here's a sneak peek of the event. Also, be sure to check for HANDY Toolbox emails from the NHS starting next week.
