Video: From Garden Goo to Poo-Poo Pellets |
|
|
What possesses two grown men to sit in a bathtub of manure? One can only wonder. Perhaps there's so much manure in this world that such men have no problem thinking of it as merely waste.
Well, that's not the case with an Idaho company called Natural Nutrient Solutions (NNS), which makes PooPeas. NNS takes the same manure that the gent on the right is splashing into the face of the one on the left (now that stinks!) and converts it into easy-to-use organic fertilizer pellets.
Unlike bags of manure, PooPeas pellets are easy to spread in your garden. However, like other types of organic matter, they do help plants develop strong root systems while increasing the long-term health of the soil. And you won't have to hold your nose while using them.
Here's why you don't pooh-pooh these PooPeas.
